Europe for Poland

Welcome to an online demonstration for the protection of Judge Igor Tuleya, persecuted for allowing an investigation into possibly invalid decision-making in the Polish parliament.

The Polish government tightens its grip on judges and prosecutor independently upholding Polish and European law by the unheard step of threatening a judge with prison for the content of a ruling.
If judges can be punished with jail for a ruling on the initiative of a government, there is no independent legal system, and we have no-one to protect our rights from the most powerful actor in our society.
Polish courts are European courts – if we allow the first to abuse the basic principles of rule of law, the European system protecting us all can unravel.

Listen to appeals from Polish judges under persecution, from leading legal scholars and representatives of the legal profession in Europe. Post a selfie with #AWallBehindIgor #MuremZaIgorem to show your support. Make a virtual wall behind Igor and the courageous Polish judges fighting to uphold our rights!
