Human Rights Human Wrongs 2016 Kick-Off
As a partner of the Human Rights Human Wrongs documentary film festival, we invite you to the kick-off of this years' festival. Join us on Tuesday February 16th at Cinemateket as we kick-start the 2016 edition of the Human Rights Human Wrongs Documentary Film Festival with a series of exciting events.
We want to highlight in particular the event Making sense of war and peace: Propaganda and reality in Ukraine, where the Norwegian Helsinki Committee will present the the film The Near Far East, by the Czech documentarist Filip Remunda.
Before the screening of the film, The Norwegian Helsinki Committee invites you to participate in a panel discussion about issues such as truth and propaganda during the conflict and the difficult role of the media.

Now Ukraine strives the best it can amidst economic crisis, opportunist politics and an ongoing conflict. Propaganda creates completely opposite versions of reality. How do we separate real news from lies?
