Helsinki Committee: 15 Years in defense of Human Rights
We congratulate the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina on their 15th anniversary.
The Committee was formed just after the end of the war and despite difficult working conditions, it has been a key human rights NGO on the Bosnian scene. The Helsinki Committee has addressed the many human rights problems in the country with moral weight and a principled approach. The Committee has been a close partner to the Norwegian Helsinki Committee since the formation. Enver Djuliman, who represents the NHC at today’s celebration of the anniversary, will express our desire for a continuation of the strong partnership.
