The local NGOs El-Pikir Center and PBDA joined forces after the sad events in the country last spring and summer to raise awareness on businesses’ social responsibility in order to provide humanitarian assistance to victims of the unrest. By involving and training media, a contest was launched to encourage businesses to support April and June victims in creative ways, and for media to report on these untraditional initiatives.
