NGO Forum for Human Rights: Recommendations to the Government of Norway before the UN

Norwegian Helsinki Committee, of behalf of the Norwegian NGO Forum for Human Rights, has submitted the annual recommendations to the Government of Norway on human rights at United Nations.

The recommendations are particularly directed towards Norway’s efforts before the UN Human Rights Council, but are relevant also to other UN bodies.

NGO forum has submitted thematic recommendations on blasphemy, apostasy and defamation laws, caste-based discrimination, freedom of association, promotion of child rights and the UN declaration on the rights of peasants and other people working in rural areas

The Forum has issued particular country recommendations on Azerbaijan, Burma, Kazakhstan, Nigeria and the Russian Federation.
