Both law firms provide invaluable pro bono assistance to the legal work of the Norwegian Helsinki Committee, together with Matrix Advokater. Wikborg Rein has also made a generous donation that has contributed greatly to the NHC’s work in Ukraine over the last year, including to Truth Hounds.
Over the lunch the Truth Hounds activists and the Norwegian lawyers discussed further cooperation in, amongst other topics, sanctions compliance and universal jurisdiction: what is needed in practical steps to prosecute suspects of international crimes in Ukraine.
