Luke Harding is one of the world’s most recognised and widely read experts on Russia and Ukraine. His book Mafia State was based on his experiences as a correspondent for the UK newspaper Guardian, a career that ended when he was denied entry to Russia in 2011. Harding has also published books on Edward Snowden’s revelations and Julian Assange’s Wikileaks. The pioneering investigative journalists of Bellingcat feature in his book Shadow State, which is about Putin’s assassinations and operations in the West. He touched on the same topic in his book Collusion, which described the relationship between Donald Trump and Russia. A very expensive poison is about the assassination of a Russian defector in the UK using a radioactive isotope. This book also has been adapted for the stage at the venerable Old Vic in London.
Many of Harding’s books have been translated into Norwegian and will be on sale during the event.
