Apply now for civil society support in Türkiye

We are excited to announce that applications for the Advocates for Change – Civil Society Support for Türkiye Grant Program are now open.

With support from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this program is all about protecting human rights, upholding democratic values, and fostering the rule of law in Türkiye. If you are part of a civil society organization working to advance these goals outside the major cities of Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, we want to hear from you!

We are offering grants between 100,000 – 300,000 NOK to support your vital work. The funds will be disbursed in three instalments, with the final 10% released after the completion and approval of the final report.

Ready to take the next step? Submit your application by October 6, 2024, by 24:00 CET using the MS Office application form. Please be aware that incomplete or late applications will not be considered. For any questions, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].

Projects should take place in Türkiye and wrap up by July 30, 2025, with a project duration of 9 months. The call is open for projects addressing key priority themes, including human rights defenders, freedom of expression and the media, LGBTQIA+ rights, gender equality, and women’s empowerment. If selected, we will move forward to the final due diligence checks.

Do not miss out, be part of the change!
